Vickie, Meeting, REMUS AURIC lyrics @ Lana Del Rey. notes – words - 600ish
In the Land of Gods and Monsters I was an Angel
Vickie came by the seated vampires with a fake smile as she weaved through them putting their empty wine glasses onto her serving dish. After giving all the vampires their requested drinks she had to make sure the room was spotless for them, so that Artemis wouldn’t be down her neck about having a dirty bar. Vickie hated doing the bitch work for vampires, she doesn’t mine doing hard work or labor, but when she was being enslaved by undead-asswholes is when she draws the line. They take advantage of her because she is not one of them, Vickie is not a regular mortal, but to the vampires Wiccans were near the same as the only thing setting them apart were that Wiccans had powers. Vickie guessed that she wasn’t human, but she has no idea what or who she is right now because her grandparents never got the chance to tell her what was happening to her. The first time she noticed herself healing really fast, she was freaked the fuck out because no human could do that.
Vickie was aware that vampires could heal remarkably, but she is sure that she wasn’t bitten or born a vampire, if that was even possible. Right now, vampires were at number two of her least favorite people, her step-mother being the number one because she was the definition of ‘bitch’. If Vickie wanted to be honest with herself, being kept at the Queen Mary was a lot better than staying in her cramped apartment or being around step-bitch or Mae and Austin. The vampires were tolerable, all they wanted was blood from the back, but sometimes some vampires would get a little frisky and slap Vick on the ass like she was some kind of cattle. The contact was probably the one thing she hated, but there weren’t any vampires that tried to bite her or corrupt her space, though Remus being the exception since he was a council-member.
The vampires didn’t try to go against Remus or any of the Aurics in that matter, so it was obvious that it wouldn’t be the smartest move for a vampire to try and kill me. Vickie gets enough torture from Remus who loves to grace her with his appearance every single day as there wasn’t a time he wasn’t there to irritate, scare, or intimidate her. Although, as of recently, she has picked up something else from Remus, in some way she could see that he was flirting with her a bit, but the last thing she needed was to like a dead person. Besides, Remus was a sleazebag, if he really liked Vick, he wouldn’t be parading his whores all around her, or letting her see him with a girl in bed. The asswhole he is, he probably couldn’t help himself because his ego is too big.
Vick took the rest of the wine glasses and gently placed them in some soap water, where she would begin to wash them. Vickie doesn’t know if the vampires cared for dirty dishes, seeing that they were dead and were immune to diseases and bacterial infections, but the idea of drinking out of a cup someone recently had irked her. Vickie sat the serving dish down, so that she could pick up a rag to start hand-washing the wine glasses, and putting them one by one in the other basin, filled with clean, cold water.

I'VE NEVER BEEN COMPLACENT, I CAN'T AFFORD TO BE though they vampires were seated at the bar as opposed to their place at the council table, it meant their conversation was no less important. with the threat of war upon them, each moment of deliberation was important. remus had been relatively silent through most of the conversation had between he and a few others, lost in his own thoughts. war would mean prisoners of war and prisoners of war meant fun for remus. as the designated torturer, his fun was soon to come. oh yes it was. see, the tactics of war and all that jazz didn't matter to him. all he cared about were the casualties that would be had at his fingertips.
as the wonderful thoughts of bloodied bodies danced around in his mind, something quickly distracted him. he didn't need to see her to know who it was; vickie's scent was well known to him. it was sweet and yet unique, like no one he'd ever encountered before. he was sure her blood tasted just as sensual as her scent too. even though she was a mere mortal[so they all presumed], not a single vampire in the headquarters had touched her. they'd tried...oh they'd tried, but remus had stopped them. outwardly, he made them all believe she was his, but in reality, even he hadn't had her blood on his lips. something about vickie daniels struck him in a way he couldn't shake. he could have had her in many ways, if he so wanted, but he didn't force himself upon her. he was enjoying their game of cat and mouse, believing that one day she'd succumb to him.
for a short while, remus watched vickie from his place at the table. he nodded and gave an occasional mutter of agreeance to those he was with but his attention was focused on the petite blonde. something so mundane as cleaning up after the undead and she still managed to drive him wild. he barely moved, other than to sip on his blood cocktail, until she disappeared from sight all together. he attempted to revert his attention back to the others in his company but failed miserably. "excuse me i have something interesting to attend to." the vampire dismissed himself with the snide comment, leaving his mess behind him. well, despite being an asshole, he wasn't lying...vickie was far more interesting than anything at the table.
vickie. what else could he say about the woman? she was delicate and innocent, but with a fire within her. to others, he call her weak but he himself could see something within her that was hidden from the rest of the world. she was like a lock he had to pick and yet, no matter which way he came at her, he couldn't break in. when his 'charm' failed, he simply resorted to keeping his supply of women around, hoping to ignite some jealousy in the woman. thus far, it didn't seem to prove useful. regardless, he kept up the charade of pining after her. it wasn't hard to see his admiration for her, particularly because he didn't let any other lay a hand upon her...including his parents who sought to punish her for her crimes.
remus followed the trail of the woman, despite the fact he had truly more important matters to attend to. he watched her in silence for a few moments, studying the careful curves of her body from behind. his fangs fell from their place and he struggled for a moment to conceal them, choosing to speak only when he'd found success in that. "i have something else you could wash." a brow rose playfully, waiting for her to address him. "forget the dishes." he commanded, deciding to toy with her. what exactly he was going to do, he wasn't sure just yet. "i'm more fun anyway." hello dearie template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

Vickie, Meeting, REMUS AURIC lyrics @ Lana Del Rey. notes – a big sorry for the wait words - 800ish
In the Land of Gods and Monsters I was an Angel
Vickie continued to wash the aged old dishes that the vampires were finished using earlier, and cleaning blood off glasses down take more than just cold water and a rag to do so. The blonde haired woman scrubbed and scrubbed the blood until the glasses were a shining clean, therefore she would sit to the side, before grabbing another glass and dousing it in water. If this is what she gets for saving her goddamn brother, then Vickie was alright with it, but what she is not okay with is the fucking betrayal Mae did to get Austin out. Like what the fuck! The redhead bitch really just traded in Vick to get to Austin, and mind the fact that Mae was their stepsister, like that shit is kind of fucked up. Vickie caught them sleeping together and she told them to never do it again because it wasn’t right since they were all siblings maybe not bye blood, but there should be a line someone shouldn’t cross. Although, Mae did what she thought was best to get rid of me even if it meant framing Austin and trading me in to sit his trial out and take whatever punishment the damn vampires thought was best.
Gratefully, she placed in the position of a servant at the bar of Tatia and was sent to clean everything and serve everyone who wanted to be served, even the girls who were dancing. Vickie was basically a servant under servants, and her boss being both Tatia and the Council, with such luck Remus Auric has been keeping an eye on her. Lately, she has noticed that he has been visiting her a lot more and having very bad timing, whether it was to scare her or to make her irritated. Everything Remus did got on Vick’s nerves, but at the same time Vickie liked his sarcastic ass and was probably the only company she wouldn’t mind having out of all the vampires living on the Queen Mary.
Vickie would never let Remus know how she truly felt and she was sure as hell she wouldn’t speak those thoughts out loud for others to hear because even if she whispers it a vampire could probably pick it up. The annoying thing was that she had to keep all her thoughts to herself because there was no one at the Queen Mary she could confide herself in, let alone trust that whatever she says doesn’t go in vain. Hell most of the fucking people wants to slit her neck and take a taste of her blood, and Vickie has made known that wasn’t going to happen. Vickie continued to wash the dishes with a lot on her mind and she didn’t notice that someone was in there with her, hell, she wouldn’t even know in the first place because a vampire can move so fast it’s like they were never even there.
Vickie immediately jumped by Remus’s voice that startled her enough to drop a glass in the sink, causing it to break, “Jesus fucking Christ,” Vickie turned around with her eyes wide in complete annoyance, “Really Remus, look what you made me do.” Vickie was about to turn around until she caught what the vampire said to her and that made her narrow her eyes a bit at his arrogance, “What do you have for me to wash? Your arrogance? Find me some bleach and I could probably help ya.” Remus is a part of the council and he commanded her to stop doing the dishes, and she was actually relieved because she didn’t want to deal with the broken glass in the water. Although, Vickie was already trying to take the pieces out before pricking her finger, a drop of blood oozed out, before her healing abilities kicked in and sealed the wound. Vickie looked at her finger, before turning back to Remus curious to what he wanted, “And your definition of fun is what?”
Vick wasn’t nervous around Remus, she felt guarded, nonetheless almost as if she felt safe when she was around him. Again, another thing she will not say in front of Remus because that’s just something else for him to stroke his ego with, and she isn’t going to give him the ammo. “While we are going to do whatever fun you have planned, who is going to deal with this fuck up you caused?” Vickie went on to say, “Im not getting pinned for this, Im already in enough shit here.”
